Telangana High Court has asked Telangana State Council of Higher Education, (TSCHE – Telangana High Court has asked Telangana State Council of Higher Education) to postpone all Common Entrance Test, CET in the state till further notice. For this, the court has also asked to release new dates for TS EAMCET, TS ECET, TS PolyCT, TS ICET 2020 entrance exam soon on the official website. Candidates who wish to appear in these examinations can check the official website tsche.ac.in for details.
The TS PolyCET and TS ECET exams for PG students were scheduled to be held today. On the official website, the admit cards were available for download till 30 June 2020.
The decision has been taken by the High Court in view of the increasing cases of COVID 19 in the state of Telangana. The state government had filed an affidavit before the court, after which the examinations were adjourned for an indefinite time.
Explain that a public interest litigation was filed by NSUI, which sought to postpone the entrance examination in the state due to health risks for the students involved. The court has moved the petition and postponed the examination till further notice.
Earlier this examination was originally scheduled to take place on 4 May 2020, after which the dates were further postponed due to the epidemic. These examinations were again postponed following the orders of the High Court. Students are advised to check the official websites for information related to these exams.
