All poor, laborers will go to their homes and villages. States have started building networks among themselves to fulfill this mission. Secretariat of Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is in touch with the Chief Ministers of several states. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also deployed dozens of nodal officers for the states.

On the same lines, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has also started formulating a policy to move forward. The situation at the moment is that the central government is not in favor of restoring the railway service or the special train. In this situation, the states are engaged in implementing mutual cooperation to reach the poor laborers to the village.

The issue will come before the Prime Minister

On Monday, 27 April, the Prime Minister will meet the Chief Ministers of the states. Three to four issues are likely to arise during this period. There will also be an issue of migrant poor laborers. A central government strategist acknowledged that this was a big issue. Is also complex.

Sources reveal that during the discussion, the state can also demand a special train from the central government to bring the laborers to their place. The second issue is the GST arrears of states and their economic status. States like Rajasthan, Punjab, Maharashtra are also very tight about this. There are also signs of continued deterioration of MSMEs operating in these states. The Chief Ministers of Rajasthan and Punjab clearly say that without the support of the Central Government, they cannot fight the fight to prevent the infection of Kovid-19. In the major issue, the issue of screening, resources, availability of Kovid-19 infection is also scheduled to arise. The condition of the states is continuously deteriorating.

How should the wishes of migrant laborers be fulfilled without protocol

The protocol to take migrant laborers to their village and home is coming in the way. What the hell should be like this? Covid-19 infection is symptomatic and without symptoms. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said that most of the people without symptoms were infected.

There is also fear that the infection may not spread further in other states. The health minister of a state also considered that how can laborers go from this state to that state without protocol? Then it is not so easy. Many states have lakhs of laborers in some states. Regarding this, it is necessary to agree on all the issues from one state to another. It is said that for this, discussions among the states have started.

UP has made the protocol

Uttar Pradesh has appointed its senior officer as the nodal officer for each state. Through these officers, the state government is taking initiative to bring laborers from other states. For this, in the state from which the laborers have to come, they have to complete a 14-day quarantine period.

After this, the state will take laborers by giving masks, sanitizers, food packets, etc. to the district bordering UP with its bus. After this, the UP government will receive workers from its border. These laborers will be taken to the Quarantine Center of their districts. There these workers will then complete a 14-day quarantine period and then they will be allowed to go home with cash assistance, ration etc. This process of bringing poor laborers is to be completed in two months.
