The body of Rakshit, a 125-year-old who went to feed buffaloes with his grandmother, was recovered from the underground water tank of another plot located a short distance away. Police reached the information and sent out the dead body of the innocent child to the post mortem. After this, on the complaint of family members, a case of murder has been registered. The family has expressed suspicion of killing innocent Rakshit on a couple in the village.

Satbir, a resident of village Handa in the Baudakalam police station area, said that around 7 pm on Thursday, his grandson Rakshit (14 months) along with his grandmother went to feed buffalo in the plot near the house. On reaching the plot, Dadi took Rakshit off the gate and sat on the ground. When she came back after about five minutes, Rakshit could not be found there. At this, the grandmother thought that the grandfather might have taken Satbir Rakshit home.

Even after this, when she reached home in a hurry, there was no protection. After this, all the members of the house started searching for innocent protection. Around ten o’clock at night, Rakshit’s body was recovered from an underground tank built in a plot. After getting the information of the case, the Bondkala Police Station Incharge Ram Avatar and CIA team also reached the spot. Late night, District Police Captain Balwan Singh Rana also reached the spot and took stock of the situation.

Police took the body to Charkhi Dadri Civil Hospital for post-mortem. The post-mortem of the deceased child will be done by the board and before that there will be a corona test. In this regard, station incharge Ram Avatar said that the family of the child has raised suspicion on the couple and they have been questioned. He said that the complainant Satbir says that the said couple is jealous of his family’s progress and due to this he suspects them both.

Jayabhagwan, the father of the deceased Rakshit, is posted as LDO at the Jhadli plant. Jayabhagwan and Sanjo Devi had two sons, among whom Rakshit was younger. His elder son is about six years old. The mother of the deceased, Sanjo Devi is a homemaker.

Raksha used to cry as soon as she went to the stranger’s lap
The uncle and father of the deceased Rakshit said that Rakshit was the one who got the most from his grandparents in the house. He lived closer to grandparents than his parents. Even if his uncle took him in his lap, he would cry to go to grandparents in a short time. Family of the child told that he did not go to the stranger. In such a situation, someone carrying the plot from Rakshit can also be of identity. Rajal, the child’s grandmother, said that she could not hear Rakshit’s crying.

Rakshit’s body is recovered from an underground tank built in a villager’s plot about 250 meters away from the plot. Ram Avtar, the in-charge of the Baudakalam police station, said that the tank has a heavy iron lid which opens from outside. A 16-month-old child cannot lift this lid, this murder seems to be straightforward. He said that various aspects of this massacre will be investigated and the police has started action.

Second incident of child murder in four days
A second case of child murder has come up in the last four days. Earlier, on the night of 17 May, a four-year-old niece was thrown by a young man into the village in Chapar. The murderer retaliated with the father of the deceased and his elder brother and carried out the incident for revenge. Police has arrested the accused and sent them to jail. Now the case of child murder has come to the fore in the village of Handa. The accused of the previous incident was arrested by the Sadar police station within 14 hours of the girl’s disappearance.

Expert view: there is tension in the social relations of such creators
CBLU professor and psychologist Satbir Singh said that the killing of children is heinous. People who do this are cowardly, because they make children easy prey. There is also tension in their social relationships and frustration increases so much that they do not think even once before killing someone innocent. If they do this continuously then they fall under the category of psychopathy.
