The Health Ministry will take a final decision on whether to extend the NEET 2020 exam date for admission to MBBS and BDS programs in medical colleges of the country. There will be a meeting between the Ministry of Human Resource Development and the Ministry of Health on Monday or Tuesday on this issue. Whatever the decision of the Ministry of Health, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will implement. Based on this, it is expected that by June 30, the status of JEE Man and NEET examination will be clear.

According to a senior official of the ministry, the Ministry of Human Resource Development and National Testing Agency are only responsible for conducting the examination in the entrance examination of medical admission. Any change in it will be decided by the Union Ministry of Health, as the subordinate departments or institutions do the work of medical colleges and medical admissions.
