Actually, there have been many allegations against the Mamata government regarding the Corona figures. The government has now appointed Narayan Swaroop Nigam as health secretary. Before the removal of the health secretary, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee targeted the Modi government.
During the meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday, Mamta had said that the central government should maintain a federal structure. It is not right to do politics during the Corona crisis. Accusing the central government of discrimination, Banerjee said that at such a time, the Center should not do politics.
The Chief Minister had said that the state is doing a good job in the fight against Corona. The central government should understand that there is an international border with Bengal. The Central letter written to the state is already leaked. Actually, the Central team had recently written a letter to Bengal Chief Secretary Rajiv Sinha.
The letter showed poor arrangements in the state. The head of the team and Special Secretary to the Government of India, Apoorva Chandra, wrote that there is a huge difference between the figures given by the state government at different times to those who died and the corona patients. The team said that the death rate in the state is 12.8 percent. Which is more than any state.
