This was the first athletics event after the Corona virus break in Norway. This was also Jacob’s first race of the season. Jacob became the champion in the race held in Stavanger with a time of 13:28 seconds. Heinrich finished second with 13:32 seconds left.
Both brothers improved the record for Saundre Nordstadt Moin (13:37 seconds), which they made in Monaco in February last year. Svella (13:40 seconds) finished third. Jacob won gold medals in the 1500m and 5000m at the 2018 European Championships. During this race, many health related precautionary steps were taken.
Sister also ran: 14-year-old sister of Jacob and Heinrich also participated in this race. She finished seventh among all age 12 women taking a time of 18.00 seconds.
