HBO has decided to contribute USD 1 million (Rs 7.5 crore) to the Los Angeles Kovid-19 Relief Fund, instead of spending money on its traditional Emmy party and FYC (For Your Consideration). A representative of the network confirmed that they will not be partying Amy this year.

According to news agency ANI, the Hollywood Reporter quoted KB Blois (President of HBO Programming) as saying, ‘I am very proud of all my shows in Emmy contention this year, I hope they regain their identity. We are able to get back to the work that we love. ‘

Donations made to the Mayors Fund in Los Angeles will be used to provide the necessary support to families, medical staff and everyone.
