The worldwide corona virus is disturbed and sports competitions have been postponed or canceled, but the footballer season in Turkmenistan is about to resume. In the presence of the audience, Turkmenistan is starting its football season once again from Sunday. Turkmenistan is one of the few countries in the world where not a single case of corona virus has been reported so far.

The country of Central Asia suspended its league of eight teams in March following in the footsteps of other countries of the world. At that time there were only three bouts in the session. The league was suspended by the National Football Federation citing recommendations of the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization to prevent corona virus infection.

A month later, football is returning to the country and spectators are excited about arriving at the stadiums. The international community however is concerned that Turkmenistan is not taking the threat of this epidemic seriously.

Asir Yusupov, a 34-year-old businessman, jokingly said that happiness increases our immunity. He said that he would see the match between the defending champions Eltin Essir and the top running Kopetdeg here on Sunday.

Yusupov said that despite the ban on sports competitions in other countries, he is not afraid of crowded places. They said that we do not have corona virus here, so why not start your league?
