CBI has registered a case against Manvajra police station SHO Jaswinder Kaur for demanding bribe of Rs five lakh.
Taking two lakh rupees as the first installment of the bribe, CBI has arrested a man named Bhagwan Singh from Mohali. Following this CBI action late last night, the CBI has sealed the office of Manimajara SHO Jaswinder Kaur. While SHO has also been searched in the house located in Sector-22.
Gurdeep Singh, a resident of Manimajra, had complained to the CBI that SHO Jaswinder Kaur had demanded a bribe of Rs five lakh to protect her from a complaint against her. Jaswinder had told him that someone had complained against him that Gurdeep had asked him 27 lakh rupees to get a job.
Gurdeep told that Jaswinder has asked for a bribe of five lakh rupees to save him from the case. The deal between the two was fixed. After this, Gurdeep gave the complaint to CBI. When Jaswinder sent a third person Bhagwan Singh to take the first installment of bribe for two lakh rupees, the CBI arrested him taking a bribe.

Please tell that from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm on Monday night, the CBI raided the police station of Manimajra. During this time, SHO Jaswinder Kaur was not there. According to sources, the CBI has called him for questioning at the CBI office at Sector 30 at 3:00 pm on Tuesday. If sources are to be believed, he may be arrested during this period.
