In fact, in a hospital in Shajapur district of the state, an elderly patient was tied to a bed for not paying the treatment bill. However, the hospital claimed that the patient was having cramps and due to this his arms and legs were tied so that he could not hurt himself.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has taken cognizance of the case and said to take strict action against the hospital in Shajapur. The district hospital has also ordered an inquiry into the case.
At the same time, the family of the elderly man alleged that the hospital administration tied the patient’s legs and hands to the bed for failing to pay Rs 11,000. However, the hospital said that the elderly were tied up because they were having cramps due to electrolyte imbalance.
A doctor at the hospital said that he was having cramps due to electrolyte imbalance. We tied them up so that it wouldn’t hurt itself. The doctor also said that the hospital had waived his bill on humanitarian grounds.
At the same time, on this matter the district collector said that we have sent a team to the hospital for investigation. Police is investigating the case. Investigation report is coming soon. Strict action will be taken against whoever is guilty.
